Questions

Do you offer volume discounts?  Standard and Deluxe chassis orders save on shipping.  Orders of 4 or more identical custom chassis save $4 per chassis.

Can you make chassis with angled fronts like Fender?  All I do is straight sided boxes.

Can you put lips all around the edges?  I can put lips on the long or short ends but not all around.  The metal springs back some when bent so to get a 90 degree bend you have to bend past 90 degrees.  With lips all around I wouldn't be able to bend past 90 degrees without hitting the lips on the other sides.

Can you make the dimensions spot on?  Exterior dimensions are generally off by no more than 1/16".  If a particular dimension is critical, I can guarantee the dimension will not be more than the critical dimension.

Can you punch a chassis?  I do not offer pre-punched chassis.

What is alumiweldingAlumiwelding is brazing for aluminum.  The rods used have a 700 degree melting point, about half that of aluminum.  Alumiwelding can be done with a propane torch rather than expensive welding equipment.  A properly made joint is very strong, though not as strong as welding.  I test all my joints before shipping by stressing them with a hand brake.  The cost for alumiwelding is $5 and you can order standard or deluxe chassis with alumiwelding for an additional $5 charge.

How long after my order will my chassis ship?  Standard and deluxe chassis ship within 24 hours.  Custom chassis are usually bent on the weekend (I have a day job) and shipped on Monday.  Get your order in early as there may be a waiting list.

Why did your prices go up?  After more than 3 years of stable prices, my aluminum supplier raised their prices and I have had to increase my prices to cover the additional cost.
